Samurai Shogoku

After delivering you Nadia's hero form, i now present you Shogoku's own hero form (and a real badass one too): Samurai Shogoku. This one is based off the same outfit that Namco-Bandai's own japanese ghostly samurai warrior have in him, that being Taira no Kagekiyo.

On the DX Divas Show, Shogoku has now been merged with the spiritual samurai warrior after an incident that saw her being transported back in Ancient Feudal Japan, in which the episode in mind, that being Shogoku and the Samurai, was mostly based on the events that happened in Namco-Bandai's Genpei Tomaden arcade game (also based on the events of the Genpei War itself).

After being back in her normal time, Shogoku was worried about Kagekiyo, but knowing that he had to battle his nemesis (that being Minamoto no Yoritomo) on his own, she had to let him carry on with his mission, though not by her own choice. Luckily though, his spirit reappeared and Heather, along with Ninjor, used their powers to merge the spirit of the ghostly samurai warrior with the pink haired japanese warrior's body, making them work as one. Because when Shogoku is in her original form, the spirit of the samurai warrior would appear at random times and at his own will and communicate with not only her, but also with the divas as well. But when Shogoku uses her Samurai Wand (given to her by both Heather and Ninjor), the spirit enters Shogoku's body, fully transforming her into the form that you see here: Samurai Shogoku. And from there, while Samurai Shogoku would be seen as the combined form of both her own self and the spiritual samurai warrior, hence his outfit, not to mention that her Katana of Light would also be changing itself into a newer blade (the Tsurugu Katana to be exact), Kagekiyo's voice would only be heard, as he would either give some advice to her or just give her his support to her as she fights evil villains.

When in that form, Shogoku becomes ten times as focused as before, not to mention that she can use both her usual ninja skills AND her new samurai skills as well, using incredible sword moves that she never thought that she would be using. Also, when she's in that form, her eye iris also changes and her pink hair becomes longer, as well as seeing her usual flower on her head disappear. Her face would also be painted in white and some traces of black in it, making her resemble a lot like her spiritual partner.

Her finisher is known as the Tsurugi Fire Dragon Strike, which sees her power up her Tsurugi Katana in a fiery way and strikes it down, kinda like in the near same way that the Shogun Megazord would be striking his weapon in the third season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Nevertheless, this is the hero form of Shogoku and as i said, it's a real badass one too. And the theme that was heard in the Famison 8-Bit album, that being Kin Koi Uta, as performed by Azusa Miura, is the official theme of Shogoku's hero form.

And just to let you know, this is not a cosplay costume for Shogoku. It really IS her hero form, but as i said, it is based on the outfit that Taira no Kagekiyo wore in the classic japanese arcade hit, Genpei Tomaden (aka The Genji and the Heike Clans in Namco Museum Volume 4).
