Donkey Kong's Original Edition on the 3DS

Here it is, folks. The game i've been waiting for, since i've downloaded Crosswords Plus on my 3DS, as i had received my download code, allowing me to download it at long last. Let's check it out, shall we?

Donkey Kong: Original Edition (NES, Unreleased): Now, you're wondering why i added the word unreleased next to the console port of Donkey Kong that was actually released in 1983 in Japan on the Famicom and 1986 on the NES in both North America and Europe, right? Well, the reason for that is that this version of the Donkey Kong NES game was truly brought in 2010 on the European Wii, for the 25th anniversary of Mario, even though Donkey Kong has been around since 1981, thus 30 years total for his long video gaming career. Anyway, this Original Edition, as Nintendo calls it, brings the three levels that were seen on the NES, plus the 50m stage, that Donkey Kong fans dubbed it the Pie Factory, for some odd reason, into this version, along with a few extra animated sprites of Donkey Kong in it. In any case, while this version has all four stages, it is still considered to be inferior to the true original arcade version of Donkey Kong... but at least, i'll consider this to be a treasured piece for my 3DS downloads. However, i won't expect to receive Club Nintendo coins, since this one was downloaded by a Download Code on my eShop settings. In any case, i played the NES version of it on a pirated multicart, as well as one of the e-Reader cards that i purchased when i purchased the accessory to scan the cards at that time.

Note: For those who think that this is a downloaded purchase, it is not, as i simply redeemed my download code to get this game. And as such, it is not available for a general purchase on the eShop and Nintendo has no plans to bring Donkey Kong: Original Edition as a general release on the eShop. You'll have to download one of five available retail games on the eShop (AS a download) in order to get it. Simply buying it in retail stores will not count in getting this Club Nintendo Virtual Console exclusive.
