Name: Anju Qaminiq

Birthplace: Bombay, India

Birth Date: October 4th, 1981

Bio: Anju is known to be the healer of the team, although when she was first with them, she was just a normal average woman, who at some point, had developed a bit of a jealousy towards Shogoku, due to her well known courage and happy personality. When the time came for her to betray her teammates, she did so by unleashing a reawakened Sharifa on Shogoku, although when she did so, the tall muscular one didn't attacked her. Instead, she turned on Anju and attacked her, so for the following months that came, she tried everything to do away with Shogoku for good. But at one final point, she realized that her jealousy has led her nowhere, so in total shame, she fled her comrades and went back to India, in where she stood there for the next three years that went by. She took that time to study medecine and she helped people whenever they needed her medical services.

But one day, when the rest of the team were in a really big jam and that there would be no way out for them, as they were being infected by some kind of illness that struck them all, she realized that she was needed once again. So, she fled back to her teammates, with her medical equipment and knowledge and she managed to rescue them all, restoring the trust of her teammates that she had lost before. Anju also realized that she made a mistake by betraying them all, so she was given a second chance by the rest of the crew. Even by Shogoku, who never had any hatred in her during her jealousy rage. Since that time, Anju enjoys helping her friends and even managed to reenjoy Shogoku's company. Even Sharifa managed to be nice with her too.

Artist's Comments: At long last, the newest member of the DX Divas has arrived. And her name is Anju Qaminiq, although during the whole time that i had her on my mind, she was on my mind ever since 2001, thus she was like an OC ten years in the making. And thing is, she came after one other OC that i'll bring in the future soon too. You'll meet up with that other new OC soon too and from there, you'll know why she's friends with her.

In the meantime though, you're now meeting up with this new indian diva of mine. And thing is, for her skin color, i had to struggle to know about it (at least, without being like a racist here, as it's plain wrong to be like that), since i've never drawn indian people before. But regardless, i brought her as best as i could. Here's hoping that you'll enjoy seeing her presence here on DA.

As for her theme, i've chosen Land of Five Rivers, the theme of The Great Khali, due to it being a song from India. And Anju herself IS from India, so it fits her perfectly. So, there you have it, folks. Anju has arrived on DA. And this is not the last time you'll see her, folks. You'll see her again in more drawings soon.
