A Rockin' SHMUP Classic

On the 3DS eShop, none of the titles they had available interested me. But on the Wii U eShop, only one game was made available this week.

Axelay (Super NES, 1992): This is one SHMUP game i've never played before at all, but in which it had some near similarities in terms of sci-fi shooting games, such as Life Force (aka Salamander in Japan), Gradius, R-Type and more... well, with the exception of the last one, those games were being made by Konami (R-Type was made by Irem, last i checked). Anyway, the gameplay of that one surely is amazing, while the music of that one is exceptionally rockin', not to mention that this was normally supposed to be a Super Famicom exclusive, until a large number of letters from consumers and critics convinced Konami to bring that one in North America and Europe. In any case, i'll know for sure later on, though it was considered to be one of the best shooting games to hit the Super NES.
